Tried, tested and delicious wines for the most important meal of the year A six bottle all white case of high quality wines from prestigious estates account the world that will be ideal to enjoy on or around Christmas day The Footbolt Shiraz d'Arenberg 2021 2 x 75cl 14.4% Earthy, spicy Shiraz from McLaren Vale in South Australia, full of black plums, liquorice and black pepper, with a peaty underlayer of mushroom, pipe tobacco and charcuterie. Graves Rouge Chateau d'Arche 2021 2 x 75cl 12.5% A cool vintage, giving a fruity wine with an elegant, enjoyable tannic structure. On the nose, the wine is fruity with notes of red fruits : raspberry and strawberry. On the palate it is round and enjoyable with soft, supple tannins which lead to a fresh fruit finish. Plumbago Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC Planeta 2021 2 x 75cl 13.5% Another great wine from Planeta, one of the top producers from Sicily. A generous, fruity style of Nero d'Avola, a grape particular to this region. Classic plum and blackberry notes, with just a suggestion of chocolate on the finish. Direct and charming, enjoy this with anything from a meaty pasta dish to herby roast beef. Soft tannins and roundness characterise the wine.
