Les Mougeottes White Blend IGP Pays d'Oc 2023 1 x 75cl 11% With lovely, summery notes of elderflower, pink grapefruit and orange blossom, this is a very appealing Gascony white. Sauvignon Blanc makes it reassuringly recognisable, while the authentic south-west French varieties, Colombard and Gros Manseng provide a distinctive sense of place, as well as rounding out the texture of the wine. In all, fresh and vibrant while satisfyingly complete and balanced. Free-Run Steen Chenin Blanc MAN Family Wines 2024 1 x 75cl 13.5% Dry-farmed Chenin Blanc thrives in the Mediterranean climate, deep soils and bush-vine vineyards of the region. Only free-run juice is used (no pressing of the grapes), to preserve its clean and natural character, refreshing acidity and delicious ripe fruit flavours. It's bursting with flavour, and is a mouth-watering Chenin Blanc with intense tropical fruit flavours offset by a vibrant acidity. Era Organic Grillo Cantine Volpi 2023 1 x 75cl 12.5% A lovely rich, lush juicy-ripe pear fruitiness; strongly reminiscent of young white Burgundy. This is followed by a green fennel herbal character that sets it apart as something distinct and utterly unique. Also akin to Burgundy is the finely-applied veneer of top-quality oak, which enhances but does not obscure the wine's singular personality. Nerello Mascalese IGT Terre Siciliane Molino a Vento 2023 1 x 75cl 13.5% Typical red wine with a characteristic red colour tending to garnet. Intense aroma with hints of wild berries and spicy notes. On the palate the wine is elegant, of good structure and excellent harmony. Cuma Organic Winemakers Malbec El Esteco 2024 1 x 75cl 13.5% Made with organically grown grapes, this savoury red wine is a thrilling mix of dark, brooding fruit and fragrant, punchy spice. Cuma is a project born in 2005 with the objective to develop agriculture and winemaking in harmony with the environment and the culture. Meaning pure and clean in the language of the Aymar, Cuma expresses a commitment to continue with the legacy of the indigenous peoples and to preserve the environment for future generations. Les Mougeottes Pinot Noir, IGP Pays d'Oc IGP Pays d'Oc 2023 1 x 75cl 13% Les Mougeottes Pinot Noir has a lovely nose of ripe red cherries and berries, with a classic French savoury / charcuterie character. Rounded and soft-textured, with gentle tannins and fresh acidity, this very drinkable wine is an easy choice for sipping with or without food year-round.
