Pinot Grigio DOC Colterenzio 2023 2 x 75cl 13.5% This premium Pinot Grigio, sourced from the foothills of the Dolomites, is full bodied, with a lightly floral bouquet. Lime and herb notes underlay the melon and pineapple fruit, and the mouthfeel is supple, with a touch of richness. Balanced acidity on the palate leads to a concentrated finish. Forget the mass market Southern Italian Pinot Grigio, this cooler Alto Adige wine is what proper Pinot Grigio should taste like. Gavi di Gavi, La Minaia Nicola Bergaglio 2023 2 x 75cl 13% Gavi is one of the most fashionable white regions in Italy and the Cortese grape is king. Bergaglio's Gavi di Gavi La Minaia is 100% stainless steel fermented and left to rest in the bottle before being released. White peach and acacia aromatics, with soft honeyed richness, a cool mineral streak, beautifully balanced and fresh through to long finish. Etna Bianco DOC Organic Planeta 2022 2 x 75cl 14% Pale yellow with green highlights. Aromas of white peach, yellow plum, herbal notes. The small percentage of wine fermented in wood softens the refreshing acidity typical of the Carricante and add complexity to the mineral character of this volcanic wine. Langhe Nebbiolo DOC San Giacomo Ascheri 2023 2 x 75cl 14.5% Juicy, drinkable and far, far less strident than the average NZ Sauvignon Blanc, this offers rich texture, a mouthful of herbs and tea and a heady waft of citrus, elderflower and honeycomb. Morellino di Scansano Fattoria dei Barbi 2022 2 x 75cl 14% It is a wine with great personality and an assertive, lingering and tangy flavour. This Friuli corner close to Slovenja, produce one of the best Pinot Grigio quality of Italy. Striking and luminous, the wine has intense color, complex nose with notes of white peach, pear, stone. The palate is structured with a long finish Valpolicella Valpantena DOC Bertani 2023 2 x 75cl 12% Attractive violet red colour. Intense notes of blackcurrant, plum, raspberry, black cherry and spice. Fresh and pure with beautiful balance through to the finish.
