Disgorged in July 1981 to commemorate the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. Scoring 19/20 by Jancis Robinson, this very rare vintage Champagne from the mythical, oustanding 1947 vintage It was a monster of vivacity and energy and belies its age. A crystal clear golden hue with a faint nose of dates, prunes, figs and nuts. The palate is just incredible with a freshness and balance that keeps going. WOW Drink now - 2032.
