2012 Chateau Poujeaux 2012 Medoc

From the good 2012 vintage and scoring 89/100 Parker points, this lovely red wine is Now under the administration of new owner Philippe Cuvelier (owner of Clos Fourtet), Poujeaux has dramatically improved the quality. The 2012, a blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon and 43% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc, is a very good Moulis. With a dense ruby/purple color, nice cassis fruit, medium-bodied texture, soft tannins and a fleshy, nicely textured mouthfeel, it should drink well for 10-12 years. Drink now - 2027. A lovely anniversary gift. This vintage wine is shipped in a silk lined wooden presentation box with four wine accessories (corkscrew, wine pourer, drip stopper & wine thermometer) [worth 17.99] at no extra cost and now includes a free gift card with your personal message and tasting and storage notes.
