Released as part of the Oak Species Maturation Series by Raasay distillery, this latest release has been fully matured in Quercus Humboldtii virgin Colombian oak. The Oak species series was launched to showcase how different species of oak interacts with the Raasay whisky spirit when maturing in cask.. Peated and unpeated Raasay spirit has been fully matured in Quercus humboldtii virgin Colombian oak casks, then bottled in 2024 at 50.7% vol, natural colour and non-chill filtered. Every drop of spirit is distilled, matured and bottled on the Isle of Raasay.
