Henstone Ex-Bourbon Cask single malt whisky is an exceptional cask aged whisky aged in a mix of casks from Jack Daniels, Heaven Hill, Jim Beam to mention a few.. Each release comes from a single cask meaning it is limited to around 300 350 bottles and is mashed, distilled, aged and bottled at Henstone Distillery. Like all of their products, this whisky has not been chill filtered or coloured.. An attractive bright nose: ripe red fruit, creamy maltiness. chocolate and nuts. Smooth and balanced in the mouth, with a pleasant warmth - orchard fruits, hazelnuts and a long buttery finish. An accessible, easy drinking english single malt whisky.. Henstone Distillery is an English distillery that makes whisky, gin, vodka, apple brandy, and a corn liquor. It was established in Shropshire in 2017. The spirits are made in a 1,000 litre still named Hilda.Henstone is one of a small number of distilleries south of the Scottish border making thteir own wash (the beer that is distilled to produce whisky) on site. We have a philosophy of using only the finest malted barley to produce a distinctive and characteristic new-make spirit.
