Opland Small Batch Beer Cask is a result of a collaboration with craft beer producer Ngne in Grimstad, Norway. Ten previously-used aquavit barrels were sent to Grimstad, filled with beer and, after 6 months in the casks, an aquavit-cask-matured Imperial Rye Porter was produced. The barrels were then returned and filled with a five-year-old Opland previously matured in Sherry casks.
