Carramimbre Carramimbre, or wicker path in ancient Spanish, is the name of one of the vineyards owned by Bodegas Pignon in the Ribera del Duero; situated at the bottom of a short hill, where an ancient castle still stands. Some of the vines here are as old as 50 years old. The vineyards sit on the Golden Mile of the Ribera del Duero (which is, in fact, 15km long) stretching along the Duero valley from the town of Peafiel, down to Tudela de Duero.
