The vineyards are located on the foothills of impressive granite mountains overlooking False Bay. The vineyards are at 200-350m above sea level and the soils are composed of decomposed granite which is relatively shallow in places and very stony, on top of a clay base. The vines have deep and complex root systems, taking full advantage of the mineral rich soils. Grape Varieties: 100% Zinfandel. Tasting Note: A succulent and aromatic wine with waves of blueberry, rosemary, bay leaf and spice. Medium bodied with a mouth filling and long lingering aftertaste. Abundant flavours with exciting potential for food matching.
