The English Whisky Company was established in 2006, becoming Englands first whisky distillery in over a century. Based in Norfolk, with plentiful supplies of barley and water, they have been producing award-winning whiskies for over a decade now. This is an exceptionally smokey whisky (peated to 62ppm) aged in a single bourbon cask and bottled at cask strength. This combination delivers huge amounts of smoke on the nose and the palate, backed up with the fruity esters and balance that characterise David Fitts cracking whiskies. One for late evenings in an armchair.
