Sequel to the original Toiteach. This is the first standard peated Core Range variant. Produced using Bunnahabhain Moine which means Peated in Scots Gaelic, the Moine is matured in a combination of Ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks. The blending of different casks requires great blending skill by Senior Blender, Dr. Kirstie McCallum. All our whiskies are matured in full, inthe coastal warehouses on Bunnahabhain Bay. Colour: Light amber gold.Nose: Intriguing peatiness with hints of sherry and rich oak.Palate: Immediate warming peatiness drift to a sweet oloroso sherry influence with rich oak and balanced with delicate pepper.
