The Four Pillars team were tired of being asked when theyd produce a sloe gin, but using the non-native fruit would go against their local instincts. The solution? They chose to macerate high quality Yarra Valley Shiraz grapes into their gin. With no added sugar or colourings, just gin and grapes, its a higher proof, off-dry alternative to sweet gins that keeps the spicy, aromatic notes of the original and adds flavours of blackcurrant, white pepper and boiled sweets. No need for a fancy serving suggestion this is beautiful sipped neat.
