Paolo Marolos first grappas were produced in 1977 from his desire to transform a traditional, often rustic product into an excellent example of the distillers art. From that time on, he has consistently worked with the pomace of noble grape varieties to make spirits that exalt the special qualities of each variety. Tasting Notes: Made from pomace of the red Italian wine grape, Sangiovese Grosso of Brunello di Montalcino (pronounced san-jio-vay-say gros-so and brew-nel-lo dee mon-tal-cheeno). The grappa has a clear appearance with delicate fresh and floral aromas. The flavour is soft and elegant complimenting the enticing aromas.
